We have once again been recognised in the Australian Wine List of the Year Awards. 6HEAD retains it’s “3 Glass” Award rating for our exceptional wine list.
The annual Australian Wine List of the Year Awards is the country’s most prestigious awards program for wine and beverage. It has been running for almost 30 years, recognising the best wine lists across the country.
This year, 6HEAD has once again earned a ‘3 Glass’ rating. This places it firmly in the top echelon of wine programs in Australia. It is a great accomplishment to retain this placement for a second year.
The rating recognises the hard work and expertise of our Head Sommelier Alberto Libanoro, Beverage Manager Joel Davis, and the entire 6HEAD Wine & Beverage team. Through an especially challenging year, we have gone above and beyond to curate and deliver a premium wine experience.

“This comprehensive wine list is a fitting match for the restaurant’s iconic location, with splendiferous views of the Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay.
No doubt it will be a favourite with visitors to the city, so it is tremendous to see a large number of quality Australian wines featured. In addition, there are also some international wines, which add interest and depth, including by-the-glass.
Of particular note are the premium local wines served via Coravin, which feature much-loved producers such as Jim Barry and Pierro.
Being a steakhouse, reds are a feature, and it is fabulous to find a number of cellared wines available. Familiar, respected producers make up the bulk of the list with a wide range of prices, ensuring that it is a restaurant for all wine lovers. And if you are an avid spirit lover, there is also a fine selection of Japanese whisky to provide a memorable end to your meal.”
